christmas has started....

Well i decided to sit down today and get all my christmas cards made up... yeah finished a total of 17 cards for friends and realtives... im in a christmas card swap with friends from Scrapfreak... so they will be sent off soon... i got my first one the other day and it was gorgeous... love getting handmade cards in the mail....

ok not alot happening i really must start my shopping soon i have no idea what to get everyone....especially my dd...

Have a few scrappy projects on the go at the moment which ill share with you all when i can...

ok off to get organised to scrap tonight after i have watched the final of A farmer wants a wife....

its been awhile since i updated this blog...lots have been happening... lets see where do i start...

well i said in my last post that i quit my job and i now only have 3 more shifts to go... im very excited and i so cant wait to get out of that place... lets just say its not a nice place to be at at the moment... so im looking forward to my last shift which is next saturday night yeahhh...

Then ill have heaps of time to catch up with all my gorgeous friends and yes you guessed it scrap lots lol...

I havnt shared many pages latley but here are all my pages that i have done for Lucy's blog Sketch World where im a Diva Designer for her.. her sketches are awsome definatley go and check them out....

I did a christmas photo shoot with kaitlyn today... very cute photos... i have a few christmas pages i have to do so these will definatley come in handy... we put up most of our christmas stuff today... i know i know a bit early but kaitlyn will be at her dads next weekend so we did it this weekend so she could help out...

in other things scrapping i have done quite a bit these last 2 days i have been really into making off the page stuff and have found many great sites with instructions on how to make chrissy decorations.. here are 2 of them that i have completed

First is my christmas tree... this is totally handmade using patterned papers and a scalloped stencil and lots of double sided tape lol

and this is my fav so far... this is made out of 24 matchboxes (oh yeah if anyone needs any matches let me know lol i have thousands now LOL) then i just stuck them all together and used a bottom and top made out of thick chipbaord covered each mach box is made to look like a draw and its and advent calender for kaitlyn so when she opens up each one it has a small surprise in it for her...

isnt that cute and it didnt take me that long to make them either...

here are some more photos of kaitlyn decorating our christmas tree... she was very proud of herself as this was the first year she could reach the top of the tree (on a chair lol) to put the star on top.. she did it all by herself (gregdad just had to straighten it lol)

and check these out my mum hand made these for us... Kaitlyn, my brother josh and I... everything on these stockings is done by hand including making the stocking itself.. my mum has made 7 of these now for family ....they are totally gorgeous... Kaitlyn got hers today as a special surprise so santa knows to leave her little goodies in her stocking....

well i think i wont bore you anymore lol... i know tracy has tagged me but ill be back to do that soon i promise... i also have another blog prompt to do also so will get that caught up soon too...
Oh forgot to say im joining in agian this year with Shimelle for her Christmas journal... if you join for a year you get every year after that free... so since i did it last year this year its free for me... i didnt get much done last year lol so hopefully this year i will cross fingers for me ....

too tired

too think today lol... not alot been happening latley.. my only news that i have is i quit my job yeahhh lol... dont know exactly what im going to do with myself once i finish up there but hey all is good ill be much happier then what i am now so thats the main thing... no more stupid hours that i have been doing... so December the 1st is my last day there....lets hope the rest of the month goes fast for me please...

on the scrapping front not alot happening... have found a couple of awsome sites that i have joined in on with heaps of fun challenges... have done 2 challenges for Scrapfreak this card was a sketch challenge

and this page was for the STAR challenge you had to scrap a page using inspiration from a star scrapper.. i chose elsie flannigan love her style although i dont really think i can pull it off as well as she does but i tried...

oh dont forget to check out Sketch World blog.. its Lucy's first birthday of her sketch blog heaps of fun happening over there so go and check it out lots of gorgeous sketches and card sketches as well... im about to start to scrap some of them so check them out on the blog soon...

Huge update...

So you may want to get a cuppa lol...

Ok where to start.... oh yes our QLD holiday

We had the best time... the flight up was so much fun Kaitlyn loved her first plane flight she was a bit nervous at first but once we got going she was fine she loved it... here she is sitting in the plane waiting to take off...

So the first day we went to Dream World.. this was Kaitlyn's favourite place.. she is such a little dare devil and went on most of the rides that she was allowed to go on with height restrictions etc... she had a lot of fun running around all the diffrent places in there...we got to go into the big brother house... that was fun to see.. here is kaitlyn in the lounge room of the big brother house

The next day we traveled up to Australia Zoo.. it took us 2.5hrs to get there due to huge storms.. when we got there they had had a huge electrical storm so there was no power there... it was a bit dissapointing there wasnt what we thought it would be like... so we walked around the park a bit a few things we didnt get to see like the tigers etc due to the huge storm.. we got a photo taken with a huge snake it was so heavy... we walked around patting all the kangaroos etc too which was ok they were all a bit wet though so not nice to pat etc lol...

we also got to see Steve Irwins truck and you could sit in it for photos etc...kaitlyn and the big croc

the next day we went to movie world with Kylie and her family... Kylie and I were like big kids and went on all the rides lol.. it was lots of fun

the next day was sea world... again we went with kylie and her family.. it was great having them up there kaitlyn loved having connor and shanice to go on the rides with and yes it was fun i had kylie to come on the big rides with me LOL

so that was our holiday.. we had a great time didnt want to come home... we had major storms at night but the days were gorgeous and the place we stayed in was really nice to.. kaitlyn loved the pool and we got to swim in them a couple of time...

Ok what else.. well kaitlyn had her 7th birthday and got totally spoilt... she got lots of gorgeous presents from everyone...

she is starting to collect Beanie Kids (they are teddies and you can get many diffrent types of ones).. she got some more for her birthday from her aunty Danielle and then she also got some money so she went and bought some more today... all up now she has got 20 beanie kids 1 bigger one and 2 figurines... she wants to collect lots more... dont ask me where we are going to put them lol..

On the scrapping front not alot happening.. i did go and spend the night last weekend at the Scrapgirls retreat that they had up at penrith.. that was a great night got to catch up with some good friends of mine... didnt sleep much lol and didnt get alot of scrapping done but it was a fun time....
Oh forgot to tell you all my exciting news LOL... I got onto a design Team... it dosnt offically start till december but i got the email the other day saying i was successful.. so yeahh i cant wait.. its a brand new site but go and check it out her site is gorgeous... so ill be having lots of fun over there playing...the site is called Maya Memories...

Also if your around sydney this weekend come and say hi to me at the paper craft festival at Penrith... im going there to help out my gorgeous friends Sue and Craig with their online store Scraploot... so make sure you come and check it out they have the most gorgeous stuff there and there are also going to be some fun new stock there that you dont want to miss out on Sue and Craig have really outdone themselves this time... so come and say hi ill be there on friday and saturday....

well if your still with me yeahhh i know its been huge but its been awhile since i did a big update... must blog more regular from now on....

ok off to do some scrapping lots of projects that i have to get done
