Mad For Markers–Scrapping Saturday

Happy Saturday everyone and welcome to another Scrapping Saturday over at Mad For Markers....with all the hype on copics at the moment there are so many gorgeous stamps out there to be used with them....

As many of you know the Magnolia stamps are huge at the moment and why shouldn't they be they are just gorgeous....I'm very lucky to have such a gorgeous friend Mel G (who is on the dt here) that very generously gave me use of her magnolia stamps... this little lady bug girl was so adorable and i knew straight away how to use her...so i coloured her up and used her here on this page.

Go and check out your stamps and use them on your scrapbook pages they aren't just for cards....

Colours used: c1,3,5,7 and R 46,59,89

Mad For Markers- Scrapping Saturday

Thank so much for  joining in on our blog hop it was so much fun... make sure you are following both the store blog for Mad For Markers and the Challenge Blog... lots of fun things happening around here...

Well today I'm going to share a page i did for a colour class I'm doing online... I'm really loving colour at the moment with all my colourful copics etc... so when i saw this class online all about colour i thought i would join in to learn more.....
So i thought why not include my copics in with my pages of this class that way i get the colour on my pages i want with my copics.... one of the tutorials in the class was to make your own epoxy flowers in red... now I'm not a red fan at all... i don't use a lot of red so when i went to find some red embellishments i didn't have many that went... so i got out my white flowers and my red ciao marker and made my own... i then added 3 layers of UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel) on top of each flower....in real life they actually turned out looking like wax flowers... but by using the copic pens i managed to get a red embellishment and by adding embossing powder over the top of them you wouldn't even know the difference...
here is my page

so next time your stuck for an embellishment pull out your copics and your embossing powders and make your own...

xoxo

PS the bling jewels in the middle of each flower has also been coloured in with black copic 100
