Christmas time…

Yeah December is here my fav time of the year… So again this year i joined in on Journal Your Christmas with Shimelle… and this year im also doing it with Rach yeahh… we are determined to keep each other motivated to get it completed… so far not too good but i do have a good reason my scrap room was moved around as we got new blinds put in (they look really nice mind you) so not a lot of scrapping has been done… but now that is done i can now get right back into my scrapping (once i have cleaned up the huge huge mess LOL)… and this saturday is our christmas party and social scrap at work so planning on catching up then…. i did manage to make a few cards lately… i got a card kit pack from the very talented Shanna and decided to make these up… they are so cute… go and check out shanna’s blog she does these monthly card kit packs great products in them and very well priced….here are my cards that i made…

Other things its my birthday tomorrow… turning 29 again LOL (i so wish) and my family and friends are coming over for dinner which should be fun… a huge happy birthday to my little brother for yesterday….

Kaitlyn is doing well.. school is nearly over for the year. only 2 more weeks left of school then 6 weeks holidays…she has her end of year physie christmas party on on saturday so that should be fun for her…

I havnt even started christmas shopping yet… typical i leave it all till the last minute… oh well i do get it done eventually LOL..

ok enough for now im off to get organised to go to work teaching a class tonight….hopefully will be back soon with JYC pages that i can show…

Scraploot's 1st Birthday....

Its our 1st Birthday this weekend and we are planning a huge one to celebrate!

On Saturday 28th November, we are celebrating in style with a fantastic class launching the new range from DELISH, High Tea, and what better way to celebrate this Aussie Product Promotion day, than with HIGH TEA and be part of this fantastic class with Sally Wilson. Starting at 11am with freshly baked scones (Sue will be up early baking these from her Nana’s secret recipe) then with sandwiches and fresh fruit followed by assorted pastry sweeties (yes Sue is going to be up very early!) … We have a limited number of spots remaining, so ring to book.

The class, kit and High Tea is all included for $40. For those of you already booked into the class, please email us or pop in before to get the info sheet on the class!

We will also have make and takes using the High Tea range in the Gazebo from 10:30 to 2:00.

Lorraine Bate will be here with us also on Saturday 28th from 10am to 1pm demonstrating the Cricut machine. On Saturday all Cricut Cartridges will be reduced by 25% off.

From 2pm to 4pm Sheree will be in the Gazebo doing a make and take with you using Tim Holtz product where you will make a gorgeous Christmas Tag.

On Sunday 29th we will be open from 10 to 4pm – the scraproom is available for a pleasant Sunday of scrapping and yakking…ring us to book!

Sheree will be demonstrating the Silhouette machine on Sunday from 11am to 1pm, and then from 2pm to 4pm Sheree will be demonstrating the Cuttlebug machine using both Cuttlebug embossing folders, and Spellbinder dies.

On both Saturday and Sunday we will have hourly HOT PINK DOT specials (bit like a Red Light – but we are sure you get the idea). For the first 15 minutes at the top of each hour we will have these specials running with a great range of product each hour. So make sure you plan to be with us for a few hours on either day or why not both because the hourly specials will rotate through the day and will be different each day. We will also have some tubs throughout the store with great bargains with product reduced up to 50% off.

Sheree and Rachael have also decided on some other specials that they are going to run over the weekend – wish we could tell you what they are, but Sue and Craig don’t know what they are, nor what time they will be happening! All we know is that these will be ORANGE DOT SPECIALS

Oh and last but by no means least…in case you can’t make it on the weekend to help us celebrate, from Wednesday 25th November until Friday 27th November at 4pm, our Scraploot Scrapper Discount will be increased to 15% when purchasing over $50 (standard exclusions apply) Please noteFor Sale Items No LaybysApplies to stock on hand onlyare not included in Scraploot Scrappers discount when purchasing over $50.

I hope to see you there for lots of fun...

time again

Thought it was about time for another update since again its been awhile...

Ok first things first i am one proud mum at the moment... My gorgeous girl has done 2 amazing things in the last few weeks... firstly she went in her first physical culture competion which was held down in Mittagong... we all took the trip down there to watch her... she was so nervous but looked so cute all dressed up in her new outfit... i paid for her to get her hair and makeup done (as it has to be a certain way for comps) so she looked beautiful...she did so well (i was definatly one of those nervous mums on the sideline LOL) but she went out and did all her dances very well and came FIRST place in her section... wow she told me i was embarrassing cause i screamed the loudest LOL... but i was so so proud of her and she couldnt stop smiling (plus we had to ring every family member we could think of to tell LOL)... she got a certificate and medal as well.. her next comp is this sunday so we get to do it all over again....

the next big thing was she came home from school this week with her results from her computer test she did... they do these uni tests at school that you can do and she chose to do the computer one... well she got a distinction she was in the top 7% of NSW... very proud of my girl....

So as you can see lots happening around here...scrapping wise the new challenge went up over at Dream Girls... this challenge was alot of fun but definatly a challenge... go and check it out and give it a go... here is my page i did for this challenge

and lots of other scrapping happened over the weekend which was fun but cant share they are for classes at Scraploot so go and check them out there....oh and if you want something to do this saturday night come and join us for our scrap night ring the store to find out more details... lots of fun....

Ok off to do some more stuff have a few things i must get done....plus im trying to reorganise my scraproom (little bit by bit lol)

Tuesday 4 August 2009

Well ever since getting back from Melbourne not much scrapping has been happening... but i think i have my scrap groove back.... ive been scrapping up a storm these last few days...

I have finished off a album for work (opps forgot to take pics of it)... plus i have done my first week of my new class that is starting in september (make sure you check out the scraploot store for more details) if you love Tim Holtz products like i do then definatley check it out....

So i have also just started another Shimelle online class (love her stuff)...this class shows you how to use your printer to its full advantage... lots of fun stuff... we have done 2 pages so far one was just a basic printer technique (this is for the title page)... this is how mine turned out... have decided to do this whole album in 8.5x11

and the second page is using label stickers how cool do they look will have to use these again i think....

So thats about all for now... im half way through another page and will share that when i have finished....
Ok off to clean up the mess

Sunday 7th June: This is the day we celebrated my mum's 60th birthday with a big party for her.... It was such a great day and we were very lucky with mostly good weather (slight drizzle for about 5 mins LOL) but my mum enjoyed herself which was the main thing... My brother Josh, his girlfriend Lisa and her little girl Monique came up to surprise my mum, and we did get her good lol... she had no idea that they were coming up from Melbourne (josh told her during the week he was working lol) so she was very excited that they were there for the party...took lots of photos so here is a collage of just a few of them....
Monday 8th June: Was my mum's actual birthday so we all went over to my sister's house for a birthday lunch... yumm food and we all got entertained by the kids with their made up dance routine was so funny... Josh, Lisa and Monique came to stay at our house for the rest of the week... Kaitlyn had a ball with another little girl in the house having lots of sleep overs (lots of late night giggling too LOL)... it was great getting to know Lisa and Monique (and Kaitlyn and I are going to visit them in July woohoo cant wait..)
