Yeahh its wednesday

and that means only 2 more days till i get to go and scrap the whole day with some really fun girls... We are having a big scrap day at Scraploot on Saturday for us girls and its going to be so much fun.. Anthea is coming up again for it and staying here with me so i cant wait to get to sit and scrap again with this talented girl... so much fun, food and laughing oh and a bit of scrapping lol...

Speaking of Scraploot... its getting so exciting over there with the very soon to be opened new shop.. lots of fun things going on over there and there is also a very big secret too.. so make sure you definatly check out the website for all the details this is definatly one that you dont want to miss out on thats for sure....


On other things... go and check out the Scrapping Word Pictures Challenge blog it has been now taken over by Sami and im sure there are going to be lots of fun things happening over there soon... sami will be starting fresh as of Nov 1st so make sure for a fun challenge you go and check it out...


so not alot else happening havnt scrapped much that i can show you.. have done a few things for the shop and im in the process of doing some more pages... i did do this page though for the sketch this week over at creative scrappers...

So thats all on the scrapping front... Kaitlyn had her birthday party last saturday and she totally enjoyed herself which was great she got some really nice presents so she was happy with that... glad thats over for another year though LOL...now onto christmas shopping....

ok well i have to go and get some ink for my printer and photo paper so i can scrap...

8 years old....

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GORGEOUS GIRL KAITLYN...Today is Kaitlyn's 8th birthday and she got totally spoilt rotten... Dahma and Gregdad bought her a new bike she had a little go on it but just needs to get used to it...

and check out this face lol... i think she was rather surprised with all that i gave her lol(the photo is a bit blurry but i just love the look on her face LOL) this was a High School Musical pillow that i gave her and you can plug your ipod into (it has a speaker on the end of it)...she has asked for a baked dinner for tonights dinner with an apple struddle as her birthday cake lol... so im glad that she is a happy girl...now to just get organised for her party on this saturday... mmmm 12 8 year olds.... LOL wish me luck...

Gorgeous weekend...

Well it has a been a gorgeous sunny weekend... Love that summer is nearlly here finally... Love the warmer weather and the longer days with daylight savings...

This weekend has been a quiet one.. Kaitlyn has been at her dads this weekend to celebrate her birthday (which is this tuesday)... so im sure she has been having lots of fun...

And this weekend my dad also left to go on the Camp Quality Escarpade.. My dad goes every year and is an offical on the escarpade (which means he sets things up etc makes sure everyone gets in safely)... so he left friday afternoon... he always has lots of fun on these car rallies... we have to put the stickers on his car each year (they went on well this year thank goodness lol)... so here are a few pics of the car and my dad with his friend Michael who goes with him...

so since then its only been mum and I at home... very quiet and peaceful LOL... so i did lots of scrapping.. i have gotten 3 pages done this weekend (and im about to do some more) 2 of them i cant show you yet as they are my dt pages (which im happy to say that they are now all finished)... but here are a few i have done over the last couple of days...

just a few more pics...

Just wanted to add these pics... the first one is of the cake pops these are the ones im going to make (yes danielle ill make them LOL) for kaitlyn's birthday (but hey you can come over early to help me lol)...

and this is my gorgeous quilt that my mum made for my back seat of my car.. its in my fav colours and it looks so good... i love it...

and i havnt shared pics of my car since its been fixed... but i cleaned it today so it looks good now... nice and shiny... love my car...

just another day...

So as you can see lol not alot to do latley... so again i fixed up my blog... and look what i learnt to do, I can now make my own blog banner woohooo... found this awsome easy site called scrapblog. its so easy to do (if i can do it anyone can LOL)... so there is my new blog banner for now....

Scrapping wise i have gotten one page done this weekend, oh and another one half done... i did this page for the October sketch challenge over at CD Doodles.. was very happy with how this one turned out

and also today i have been cooking... now most of my friends and family know that i hate cooking and im so not good at it... but these pics are for my sister (who always laughs at my cooking)... but look at this perfect cake... i had to take a pic just so Danielle would believe me LOL...

and then i also made these yummmy peanut butter cookies... anthea made these when we went down to visit last and they were so yummy and so easy to make also... so i thought i would give them a go since they looked so easy LOL... so here are mine... yes and they even taste the same as anthea's lol..

oh they are yummy....so thats my weekend... im off to wash and clean my car now... my mum made me this gorgeous new quilt to put on my back seat (i have leather seats in my car and in the summer they are so HOT ) so i have to clean my car before i put it in...

School holidays and other stuff....

Well we are now into the second week of the school holidays... the first week seemed to just fly by lol...

Kaitlyn had a friend from school sleep over last night, lets just say a lot of giggling and talking happened till 10pm last night lol... and then they were awake at 6am with more talking and giggling... me i just put my pillow over my head and went back to sleep till 7:30am...

Then we decided to go the Featherdale Wildlife Park... spent a few hours there wandering around then came home to do some craft and play some more...

Tomorrow Kaitlyn is off to another friends house to play while i go to work...so that should be fun for her apprently they are going bowling... lots of fun...

Apart from that not alot happening... we had my sister and nephew over last weekend as it was a long weekend as my sisters husband was away at the bike races. So that was a fun weekend.. i did end up getting some good shots of my nephew though that i was happy with... havnt edited them yet...

On the scrapping front i have decided to join up on this awsome sketch forum that i found... Creative Scrappers is a fun place to go with some awsome sketch desginers... these are 2 pages i did so far...

Its Design Team upload day at Scraploot today... this month we got to work with some yummy spring colours... I got to use the cute autumn leaves cute world girl range... very cute and yummy pastel colours... here are my pages for this month

Ok so its school holidays.. im still working during these holidays but my gorgeous boss did give me monday off this week so kaitlyn and I headed down to Nowra to visit Anthea and the boys... i dont know what it is with Nowra and Us but it was cold and windy down there again LOL... next time i told anthea im not coming down till its summer and its hot LOL.. The kids had a great day though catching up again... and i got to play with anthea's 50mm lens i got some great shots of kaitlyn with it (so its definatly on my must have list thats for sure).... here are some shots i got...
