New challenges

Well i have been scrapping some more... i have made some cards this weekend which i am rather pleased with... this card is for a new challenge that i found... i love Lauren Meader's work and i have followed her blog for awhile... she has started some new challenges and here is this weeks challenge to create something using the following colour combo:

Color Inspiration #50

I have been following Kristina Werner's blog for awhile now and have been inpsired by her colour inspiration challenges... So i thought i would give them a go here is my card for challenge #50

Scrapping again...

And it feels good to be back in the groove LOL...

Although today not so much as im running on 4 hours sleep... Today being ANZAC day we got up at 3am this morning to go to the Dawn serivce in Parramatta where my Dad and Pop march each year... at least this year it wasnt raining and wasnt too cold which was great. We had a great morning and then had breakfast at the RSL club...Then my sister came over for lunch (it was her birthday last wednesday 22nd April, Happy birthday sis)...so that was more fun and i got lots of photos too which i havnt downloaded yet....So that was my day today and i can say that im now rather tired and ready for bed but thought i better update this first...


Scrapping wise I have been working lots this week and had my week 3 stamping class on as well which was great... this was the page that they did in my class. The photo isnt too crash hot (will take a better one soon)...
Speaking of classes go and check out the awsome classes that are happening in May at Scraploot... Oh wow the teachers have out done themselves this month....so if you are around the area make sure you come in and see the samples they are stunning...

Ok well not much else to report only 3 more days of school holidays for kaitlyn... i think she is ready to go back thats for sure..tomorrow we are off to go and do some shopping for winter clothes as she seems to have out grown all hers since last year....then home to do some scrapping (i have a big to do list so must get it done)

Easter Break...

Well im finally back and back into the normal routine (apart from school holidays that is LOL)... we had a great 5 days away up at Nundle... they had a Chinese Gold festival on while we were there and that was lots of fun with great stalls to buy lots of stuff (spent lots of money as usual)... we did lots of touristy things like gold panning, bush walking etc and i got some really good photos (all 491 of them)... so lots to scrap... here are a few from the trip away...

So now back to work and right back into the swing of it... tomorrow we are having a big day at work with a huge class on during the day then a night crop on... going to be a long day but should be fun... im planning on scrapping tomorrow night... have decided to do some holiday albums of all the holidays that kaitlyn and i have done so far... im starting with our Qld holiday 2 years ago... have just printed out all the 90 photos that i took LOL... so tomorrow night i plan on starting on that album....

Speaking of scrapping im right back into it again which is great... i think the break away from it all did me good... have completed one page and a mini journal book so far... will take pics soon to share...

ok off to bed now big long day tomorrow so i need lots of rest...

another week down...

man time seems to be flying lately... and im still not getting much scrapping done LOL... well this weekend was a fun one Anthea came up to visit us for the weekend and we stayed at Sue and Craig's for the night... a few drinks and me watching Sue and Anthea scrap LOL was fun...

Im quickly posting here before i forget to as i did say i would try to post weekly now... im supposed to be doing the house cleaning but a few things have happened today which were not that great... so im just taking time out for a few minutes to blog...

I did manage one page this week... i did this page for the sketch over at inspired blueprints (great sketch site if you are after inspiration)... and i also tied it into last months 2 peas season class as well which you had to do a green page (st patricks day)... so here is my page

so im pretty happy with that page so my scrap groove might just be coming back to me...lets hope so anyway....

we are off on holidays this thursday... so cant wait for 5 days relaxing and sitting around doing not alot...

and i have just realised also that my blog has hit 10,000 visitors...so please leave me a comment saying hi i would love to know who visits my blog... all the names will go into a draw to win a RAK from me (ill draw it when i get back from holidays next week)....

ok best get back to cleaning... even though i havnt scrapped man my scrap room is a mess LOL...
