Canberra and other things...

Well im home and ive finally had 2 good nights sleep in my own bed LOL... have downloaded all my 300 odd photos that i took while we were away... and i have actually even done some scrapping since i have been home... wow i think im on a roll...

Ok so the holiday... it was rather cold down there but we seemed to have fun... we visited many diffrent places while we were there including parliment house etc.. here are some pics there are way too many so i have put some of them into a collage to see them...

So there are just a few of the photos i took.. if you ever get to canberra i recommend you go and see the Zoo its amazing.. the animals are all so close its like you can just reach out and touch them... we had a great time there walking around and kaitlyn even got to feed a tiger...

So school goes back on tuesday... and im back to work tomorrow yeahh... went over to Sue and Craig's last night for dinner and to scrap... Craig cooked us all a really yummy baked dinner... Anthea was also there... it was great to sit and chat with her again... next weekend is going to be lots of fun also its Anthea's first classes at Scraploot (if your free you should come and join us going to be lots of fun)...

So last night i got 2 pages done, and a mini album done also...here is some pics of the mini album that i did...this is the box i made for the album to go in...and this is the album that is inside the box

ill show my 2 pages soon.. i made them for a challenge... ok well im off to get ready to scrap more... hope everyone is well...

Im Home...

It was a great trip, long but it was fun... im so tired...so this is only a short update... just downloading my 300 odd photos that i took while we were away...

Art Journal

Thought i would share this art journal that i made for Kaitlyn... Kaitlyn and I are off on our holiday on monday and its about a 4 hour drive down there (probably with lots of stops on the way LOL) so i made her this journal (using a 3 ring binder) for in the car so she dosnt get bored... (i got this idea and scraplifted the cover idea from an awsome scrapper named Shanna make sure you go and check out her gorgeous stuff the star on the front is also shanna's that she drew by hand you can get lots of her templates on her blog)...

so here is the binder

and inside the binder i have printed off some colouring in pages, find a words and just general puzzles for kaitlyn to do in the car... i also printed off some bingo games that i found online that are great for the car... and also just added some general note paper for her to write on (she loves to write her own stories and make things up LOL)...

Im sure that she is going to love this (she is at her dads at the moment)... she loves colouring in etc so im hoping this will keep her entertained for awhile why we are driving there and on the way home....

Wish me luck for the trip LOL...

Just updating...

So not alot happening here at the moment.. Kaitlyn is on school holidays... thanks to my awsome mum who is looking after her this whole week... then next week Kaitlyn and I are off on a little holiday just the 2 of us... We are going down to Canberra for 4 days doing all the touristy things down there... its going to be so cold down there though... lucky i got a hotel with electric blankets and air con lol... so it should be a fun few days.. we are leaving early monday morning and driving down there and will be back on thursday... so lots of photos im sure... Kaitlyn is really hoping that it might snow while we are there lol... you never know though we are pretty close to the snow there....

So apart from that i have just been working... speaking of work my gorgeous friend Anthea is holding her first class at Scraploot at the end of this month.. so if your in sydney and want to come to an awsome fun class then go and book in... the 2 pages she is teaching are gorgeous... im already booked in LOL...

so in my scrapping world not alot happening.. i have my DT kit sitting here waiting to be done which im hoping to get done this weekend while Kaitlyn is at her dads... i have done a few pages but not alot.. here is one that i have done

This one i did for the aussie pub calls sketch challenge for July and also the red, white and blue challenge over at the sketch Book...

so thats about it not much inspiration hitting me at the moment...so i might actually go to bed and watch a movie... even the www is boring me at the moment lol...
