Well i have decided its time to start saving money and go on a serious budget... Im determined to do it this time and really start saving.. this means im on a serious scrap budget... so i was over at shop and crop the other day checking out the forum and was talking about saving money etc... the wonderful Mel was saying she sets herself a challenge that she is not allowed to buy anything until she has completed 20 pages.. So i have decided to take her up on that challenge and try to do this myself as well...So here is page number 1:

Well not much else to share with you all today.. I have finished off all my pages for this months EDM theme of Family.. loving this competition so far and im really determined to complete this fully...Well it looks like it is going to rain again today (kaitlyn has her first atheletics carnavil at school tomorrow so cross fingers it dosnt rain too much).. its so cold i wish summer was here soon...have a great day all..



Finally i scrapped.. its been like over a week now since i last scrapped and i was feeling so out of it... i had no motivation what so ever so tonight i sat down put on a movie (got off the computer LOL) and scrapped... although it wasnt a LO it was still scrapping and i totally love what i did... here it is.. my Red Rooster Mug... they are selling these in red rooster for the movie "Over the Hedge" so i went and bought 2 of them when i found out that they came apart and you could scrap them... this one is for myself using my favourite pattern papers of all time Junkitz Flowerful.. love what you can do with these papers...



Love it... ok so hopefully my mojo will stay with me know and i can scrap lots more.. Off to scrapabout Australia tomorrow night for another 8.5x11 class with Alison..cant wait lets see how many pages i can get done...

Oh this makes me 2/20 so only 18 more to go till i can go shopping...

well im off to bed.. only got 3 hours sleep last night so im hoping for a few more.. and im addicted to a series of books at the moment they are a series called "Stephanie Plum" they are the best books i have read in a long time.. i think there are 12 in the series so far.. and they make me laugh.. they are all about this girl Stephanie who is a bounty hunter and its all about mystery and murder and police things etc... just an unreal story line... so im up to number 6 in the series and i just have to keep on reading them.. i have also gotten my sister into reading them and so i have to keep ahead of her so she can borrrow them off me... so off i go to start on number 6...

Want to know what it is??? LOL I got the position of DT member for Zig Zag Scrapbooking.. I am so excited about getting this.. I just couldnt stop smiling and telling everyone LOL... this is my first time as a DT member for an online store and its just so exciting to see things that we have to do and work with all the other girls that got the position as well.. I so cant wait to see whats in store for us Im sure that it will be awsome... Thanks to the lovley Neva and hubby for choosing me to be apart of their team i feel very honored....

Ok now on to other things, I have joined in on a online monthly crop with an american online group called Scrapbook Dreamer its such a fun crop.. We have to go back to school and start at Kindergarten LOL.. they give you about 4 challenges in each grade and you have to complete at least 2 of them before going on to the next grade... So much fun... Kindergarted challenges were to go on a scavenger hunt online and find a list of 15 items (i completed that), 2 other challenges were to leave comments and messages in the forum and gallery (just about to finish that) and the other one was to complete pages (as many as you like) but they had to incorprate shapes such as circles, squares etc.. here is my first page.. going to get another one done tonight:



so im off to do another page tonight and go up a grade to grade one LOL...

ok i thought i would put a list here of scrap things that i need to complete.. Lets see how many i get done this weekend...

Okay onto other things i joined in on the top50 cyber crop last night only managed to get one page done which was pretty good for me.. and i did like the end result which again was great LOL...

isnt my girl gorgeous LOL im just a bit biased LOL... well today was just a non eventful day, i was in just one of those lazy i cant be bothered doing anything days... unfortunatley that means nothing got done what so ever and now im just really tired so im heading off to bed now...hope you all (who ever the 1000 people are, yep thats how many hits i have had here LOL, so if its you make sure you pop in and say hi) have a great week.. im off to work tomorrow night then convention for work at Star city casino yeahhh... enjoy everyone...

Well thought it was about time i did a catch up on my blog... (before i get in trouble from Kylie again LOL)..

Firstly I having a great time being on the Zig Zag design team.. got my first DT pack the other day and so cant wait to scrap with them.. im setting myself a day next week to just tsit and scrap.. speaking of Zig Zag tomorrow night the 18th August we are having our first Cyber Crop.. Its going to be so much fun so i hope you all can be there.. some fantastic prizes and challenges that are going to happen.. i so cant wait counting down... so please come on over to see us...

ok other things i have done my first 2 pages forhe EDM comp for August here they are.. i was quite pleased with these pages...

ok not much else to catch up on.. Im now on 8 days off from work.. yeah a bit of a holiday im so happy as im just exhausted and need to catch up on my scrapping LOL.. Im off to Scrapabout Australia tonight for a class with Zina Wright.. im so excited about this this class looks gorgeous... im not much of a freestyle person but her work is awsome so we will see how mine turns out LOL...im just so excited to be able to be in her class even if i dont get much done LOL... well i best go and get ready for it i just checked out her blog and there is a list of what we need for the class on there... i have printed out the photo but thats about it LOL...

Hope you all have a great weekend.. my brother comes home tomorrow from being away with the australian navy for 4 months.... so DD is going to meet him when he sails in with my parents so i might get some scrapping done in the morning LOL.. then off to the eye doctors for DD as she may need glasses.. cross fingers she dosnt but hey my whole family wears then so its probably most likley that she will... oh well...

Ok in the last post i told you all i was going to a class at Scrapabout Australia at Parramatta last thursday night... it was a great class.. Zina is gorgeous and such an inspiration.. well tonight i finally finished off her page that she taught us and here it is

very out there page but im quite happy with how it turned out in the end... thanks Zina (if you read this LOL)...

Ok so whats been happening.. well not alot really LOL.. Im in a scrap slump again seems i cant do anything at home latley.. maybe cause I spend so much time on this computer.. Must learn to get off it LOL...

Have found an awsome new site that im loving at the moment and thats also keeping me busy LOL... such a great site heaps of challenges and its really diffrent.. everyone on there is so much fun, keeps me laughing.. they also produce an online magazine which is great every month... opps better tell you the site ScrapStreet.. go check it out.. this months street is Main Street Disney just happens to be my most favourite thing ever cause its all about Mickey Mouse....

Ok in other news LOL... went to a great day scrapping with Kylie on saturday.. the lovley Alison was there also.. It was at Sue's house she owns this great online store called Scraploot.. WOW is all i can say.. i walked into her double garage that she has and it is just so full of all the new stuff and much much more... i wish i could have lived there LOL.. spent a bit of money but hey i had saved up for that day so i was allowed to spend up big.. i managed to get 2 pages done.. one was actually a page for this month EDM so was quite happy with how it turned out...

this was part of a sketch challenge for this month using the new gorgeous Urban Lily products

another sketch challenge, I did one 12x12 one 8.5x11 and a card sketch.. you can buy this kit and make them up yourself...

this was just a random page i did using the new Urban Lily papers... my little terror..

Oh also forgot to mention my gorgeous Terror got glasses... she looks so cute in them. she only needs to wear them for reading books, writing and things close up computers etc... she is doing really well with them so far so cross fingers it helps to improve her eyes the doctor said she is about 60% long sited in her left eye so this might help her in getting her words around the right way etc...will take pics of the glasses soon...

Not much else is new...im off to see if i can scrap something now... hopefully ill remember to update this blog a bit more often LOL.. sorry Kylie wont happen again LOL

well i have finally been doing some scrapping.. we have had such a busy week here this week.. dont know how i found the time to do anything LOL.. Wednesday we had to Kindergarten teddy bears picnic.. that was a great day we went on a bear hunt and got to have a picnic lunch with the kids... and today is DD athletics carnival.. she wasnt too happy about that LOL.. shes not much of a sporty running kind of girl.. but she did try which im so proud of her.. she came second last in the big race and last in the sprints.. but as i said mummy is just proud of her giving it a go... love my girl... so ill share some pics of them all soon.. well im off to do a tidy up.. back to work tomorrow yuckkk...

Yeah Holiday time for this week.. only one week but hey its going to be a jammed packed week i can tell you LOL...

Ok so what has been happening.. well not alot as usual (such a boring LIFE i lead LOL).. lots of scrapping which has been good.. Got all my EDM pages completed for September.. going really well with this comp which is quite surprising LOL.. here are my pages for september think i have posted these before but here they all are together..:







Ok what else.. Oh i made it into round 3 at Scrapstreet for the scrappy 500 challenge... this challenge we had to create a class.. wow what a challenge that was.. I ended up just teaching a class on Doodling.. was quite fun i love doodling one of my favourite things to do at the moment on my pages... will find out tomorrow if i get to go on to the next round.. fingers crossed...

I really have to stop joining in on competitions LOL but i just love the challenges and it gets me out of my scrap slump alot since i seem to be in that quite often latley... ok the other competitions i have joined in on are Scrap World they have just started their competition today called Scrap in the city.. ok next one is Chook Scraps this one is a Chook scraps Survivor (like the tv show only scrapping LOL)... you get 2 weeks to do these challenges which is great... see now you see why i am scrapping so much... here are some of my recent pages...

ok and check this out my DD did a page for a competition.. the lovley Sue from Scrap Loot gave my girl a flower and some flower ribbon so she could scrap a page with me.. it actually didnt turn out too bad.. she ended up putting it in the scrap top 50 cyber kids challenge... was very proud of her...

How cute is that LOL...she actually did 90% if this page all by herself...

Speaking of DD its nearlly her 6th birthday (21st October).. this sunday coming up we are having her birthday party, she is so excited we are having it at home (silly me LOL) and she invited her whole class to come so far including friends and family we have 15 coming... great fun LOL so by the end of this holiday ill need another one to get over the party LOL.. it should be a great day though lots of photos... oh kylie is coming maybe she can be the photographer of the day LOL.. must ask her (or she might just read this blog and answer me LOL)...

ok must really go to bed soon my eyes are getting rather sleepy...off to get ready for my big week of things to do...have fun all...


But you just have to keep on going...oh well hopefully one day in my life might improve but for now i just live one day at a time....

ok on to brighter things LOL.. My gorgeous girl will be 6 years old tomorrow... another depressing thing in my life LOL.. i just cant get over the fact that i now have a 6 year old DD... wow never thought i would be here living like this a single mum with the most gorgeous DD ever....she is such a good girl 90% of the time LOL... she had her birthday party last weekend (as she will be at her fathers for her actual birthday).. so i hired these entertainers Kosi and Pinky to come out (she has met them before at other places and just loves them).. well i decided to make it a surprise for her.. well let me tell you i think she flew through the air when she saw them walk in the door... check out this pic of her hugging Kosi..

she just wouldnt let him go LOL.. she had a great day we had 18 kids all up from her class at school, Kylie's kids came also and my nephew... Kylie was the offical photographer (thanks heaps hon i appreciate it...) all in all a great day was had and DD got totally spoilt rotten... now to find places to put all those great presents she got..

Ok what else ohh i had a great time on holidays.. we did something nearlly everyday of the week... on the tuesday we went up to the beach at Toowoon Bay up near the Entrance.. We (Kylie and I and the kids) met up with the lovley Kell.. it was so great to finally meet you Kell we all had such a great day at the beach and the park... here is a pic of Kell and I and one of all the kids together (how hard is it to get all these kids to look at the camera at once LOL)...



such a fun day...

Oh really exciting news for me i got into the final round of the Scrappy 500 over at scrapstreet.. so excited we had to write a magazine article for it... cross fingers ill let you all know soon.. Also made it into round 2 of the other 2 competitions that i am in...so a busy week for me LOL.. ok must go and get them done now...

Yeah there is a new blog that is starting called Scrapping the scraps... this blog is awsome all about using your scraps more often... its going to have lots of challenges and heaps of inspiration on it.. I have joined in as a contributor of this blog setting some challenges etc and inspiring you all.. so go and have a look and join in with us.. there are some awsome inspirational people on there that are contributors also... so check it out and join in the challenges they will be starting very soon...

Man im not liking Optus at the moment.. They decided to do a free upgrade of our internet connection.. they told us it would be faster etc... but no its like im back on dial up again.. so slow and im so not happy... going to ring them soon...

ok what else is new.. not much LOL.. had a great weekend away with Kylie and her family down at their farm.. was nice and relaxing.. kylie and I even had a few drinks.. (kylie had more then me LOL wasnt too crash hot the next day LOL).. but it was great to just get away.. thanks kylie for inviting us down there....

ok what else... made it through to the 3rd round of both the Scrap World and Chook Scraps competition... having so much fun and the next challenges look great cant wait to get started on them soon... I have not done my EDM pages for this month... must get them done today hopefully.. before i start work at 4pm today...

Ohhhh only 4 more days till i go to a class with the gorgeous talented Elsie Flannigan from the USA.. Im so excited this will be my first big class like this.. Kylie and i are going together we are going to the paper arts festival in the morning then off to the class.. yeahhhh bring on saturday...

Just a quick post... im so excited i just cant sleep at the moment LOL.. i feel like a little kid LOL... but tomorrow is the day i get to meet Elsie Flannigan... YEAHHH so excited .(stop laughing at me Kylie LOL)...

so today i went and got my hair cut (havnt done that properly in years) and got a colour put through it also.. i was actually quite happy with how it turned out... here is a pic of my new doo...

you cant really see the colour in the pic but its a burgundy brown colour (totally not what was shown to me LOL) and it has blonde foils through it ... i had it cut shorter too with layers through it... thing is i cant put it up now for work it falls in my face LOL.. oh well lots of bobby pins may help that...

ok well im all packed for tomorrow... now to get some sleep.. have to take Kaitlyn to dancing first then pick up kylie at 11am (you better be awake girly ROFLMAO).. then we are going to paper arts to shop first then Elsie class at 2pm.... yeahhhhhh bring on tomorrow....

ok well what a week its been...

so last saturday was the day that my good friend Kylie and I went to meet Elsie... Oh it was so much fun.. she is just adorable and i love her accent so cute and bubbbly... had a great time in her class we got to make a mini album and we even made this cute felt bag that you put the album into....it was great the album is all about Kaitlyn's 2005 year... little cute calendar pages in it... and lots of doodling....just gorgeous...

what else.. i made it through to the next round of the Scrap World competition... this challenge was to do a page using only cardstock, buttons and on your shoes.. LOL thinnk i did pretty well with that one LOL.. will upload all pics when i finish the competition.

Well im off this weekend to the Scrap Girls retreat this weekend... Yeahh so looking forward to this.. Kylie has put in a lot of effort (and stressful days LOL)... cant wait I have lots of stuff planned to get done (but probably wont get much done)...but it will be lots of fun.. will share stories of the weekend when i get back...

Ok well last weekend was the Scrap Girls retreat... I had a ball.... It was so much fun.. catching up with old friends and making so many new friends as well... thanks to everyone that came with us for the weekend you all made it worth while...Thanks Kylie another great retreat that you put on for us....ok so i can show you some of the things i did (yes i actually did do some scrapping which i was quite surprised at LOL)... i ended up doing 5 pages a mini keyring album and half of Alison class album too... must go and get these finished i think....

oh wow you should see my scrap room at the moment... LOL its like christmas in there... i just recieved my first ever Scrap kit from One Page At A Time... this is the best kit ever... Im so glad that i took the plunge and bought it and am definatley going to be buying more of them.... they are an american based kit and they do send internationally... but its so worth it... i ended up paying $72.00 aus for this whole kit...definatley worth every cent....this is what i got in my kit:

well the DT call went out today for the one page at a time site... i didnt make it on the DT but thats ok... this site is awsome.. their kits are the best as you saw on my blog yesterday LOL (just cant stop raving about them LOL)... but the fun thing was that i got an honourable mention... how cool is that... i was just so excited to see that... didnt know they were going to do that so it was fun and exciting to see my name there...



ok what else not much happened today.. i did get one of my secret santa presents completed and ready to send off tomorrow... looking forward to recieving one back... i have one more i need to get done and sent off soon.... and i need to get all my DT stuff completed as well... ok well im off to get some done tonight hopefully.. i really need to scrap... im hating these slumps i get myself into... motivation please anyone.... HELP.... maybe ill check out some challenges or things that are around.....

Starting December first, I will keep a Christmas journal. In it, I will write something every
day to reflect on the holidays of my past, enjoy the holidays of the present and dream
about the holidays of my future. To some, this will be a stack of papers and trivial
scribbles, but not to me. I am taking back my Christmas, I am letting it be something I
relish and, most importantly, I am giving at least fifteen minutes every day to myself no
matter how crazy this season becomes. I hope you will share, encourage and understand
as I make something with my own hands, my own words and my own memories.

I may post some or all of my entries here. Other artists are doing this with me, and you
can see there work here. Or you may

happy december 2006

Yeahhh just wanted to come on here and post on my birthday LOL... had to share pics of the gorgeous cake my dd made me... it was beautiful... her dahma (grandma) helped her make it but she did most of the decorating... now i know why she wanted a photo of me by myself LOL... it had 30 candles on it (thats how old i turned yuckkkkk not happy LOL)... it was like a bonfire....



dosnt it look gorgeous LOL... it was yummy... thanks to my gorgeous girl....

My mum also cooked me my favourite meal a baked dinner and for desert we had my mums homemade custard with banana in it yummm o....

For my birthday i was spoilt i got a gorgeous gold braclet from mum and dad, kaitlyn bought me some kylie minouge perfume called darling with a silver star charm.. and my brother got me shapelle corby's book... we are all going out on sunday for a family lunch with my sister and her family and my grandparents... so it should be nice i cant wait...

other things i have so much to do this week.... so i thought i might write a list so i can cross it off as i go... ok here goes

to share how proud I am of my gorgeous girl today... I was pulled aside this afternoon by her teacher at school... i thought oh no what has she done LOL... but it was all good... my gorgeous girl is going to recieve an honour award at the end of year assembly... im so proud of her for this achievment....we dont actually know what it is for yet that is a surprise but she got her formal letter telling us that she will be recieving one and im jsut so happy for her... she is also doing a dance and singing as well... its held in the big entertainment centre that is near us.... will be taking lots of pics to share on the day thats for sure...

WOW didnt the day go so fast....but it definatley was a great day... I didnt have Kaitlyn this year she actually went to her fathers which i suppose i have to get used to being a single mum.. each year we switch and this year she had to go to her dad's for christmas eve and christmas day... that means i got to see her christmas night and boxing day... but we enjoyed ourselves anyway... Kaitlyn got totally spoilt and was very please with everything that she got.. (it took her nearlly half an hour to open all her presents LOL...) but she had fun....christmas day we just hung around home just relaxing... i got to open up all my pressies in the morning from SANTA LOL.. i got totally spoilt also... this is what i got:

Well not much else really happened... boxing day i was back at work and we were so busy.. seriously people just do not stay away from McDonald's LOL.. apprently someone told me today that one McDonald's store did $13,000.00 on christmas day... WOW thats alot of people having macca's for christmas lunch and dinner LOL... but i suppose i shouldnt complain they pay me wage every fortnight LOL....

We are off to see Happy Feet tomorrow... looking forward to it it looks so good... just bought the tickets online as i can imagine its going to be packed up at the shops tomorrow... well im off to bed to watch LOST season 2....

my first page for 2007... YEAHHHH... finally some inspiration i think is coming back to me... so much stuff that i need to get done... maybe now ill be able to do it... so thanks to Little Scrapbook Shop which gave me the inspiration with their great challenges over there.. i got to complete this page.... its very simple and clean but i actually dont mind how it turned out.. (apart from the really bad scan LOL the buttons were a bit large)... oh well ok what else do i need to do....ohhh thats right catch up on sleep have had 2 early mornings this week for work so im lacking sleep so think ill head to bed pretty soon... rest of the week off from today... missing my gorgeous girl heaps only one more day and she will be home to me...yeahhh cant wait...

I finally did it.. I completed a Pencil Lines sketch... was actually quite please with how this one turned out.. as you can probably guess (from my last 3 pages LOL) that im loving my new sewing machine... love it to bits and i jsut cant help but use it.....ok here is my page: this is also using the kit that i get from One page at a time loving these kits.... must take a pic of the last kit that i got from them... ill do that now....

oh yeah i also completed a sketch challenge for Little scrapbook shop. Cath makes the best sketches so easy to follow i love them... here is my page for this months sketch challenge using one of her sketches... this was also for a challenge that was set for me... i had to use at least 3 diffrent chatterbox papers, 2 heidi swapp ghost shapes at least 2 photos and letters stickers....(LOL again i used my sewing machine....LOL)

ok well im on a roll at the moment with my scrapping... am definatley going to do more while i have the mojo....ok off to clean my desk and start something else.... nothing like a scrap day to make you happy......

Well we have just come back home from the shops and look at what happened to my gorgeous girl today... I told her yesterday she had to go and have her hair cut ready to go back to school... so i thought yeah about 5cm off the bottom should be ok... you see she has really really long hair and she loved it... she wanted to be rapunzel and have hair like hers... well this morning when i was doing her hair she told me she wanted it all cut off.. im mean not just a bit but alot off... so off we went went and saw a movie first "flushed away" it was an ok movie nothing i would rave about... then it was off to get the hair chopped off... im still in a bit of shock how much she actually had cut off... here is how long her hair was before





ok and this is now what she look like... i actually dont mind it.. the lady at the hairdressers actually put it in a pony tail and plait before she cut it off and gave it to me to keep.... its amazing how much she actually did have cut off... here is the new Kaitlyn
she is still my gorgeous girl LOL...

ok what else is new... umm not alot lol.. not much scrapping happening here... i so need some inpsiration... help me someone please... ok well im off to do something hopefully some sort of scrapping would be nice....maybe might actually start to do a bit of orgainsing... any one got any tips on how to organise your chipboard... i have so many but they are everywhere... any help would be great

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY EVERYONE !!!!!!!!!

Had a great day today... we went down to richmond and had a picnic on the river... awsome day so relaxing and so much fun... was rather hot so it was good to sit by the river and its shallow enough for the kids to have a swim... and thats all they did all day... i think Kaitlyn came out of the water for half and hour for lunch and that was it till we left LOL... she is getting so much more confident with her swimming now its great...got a little burnt... applied so much sunscreen on her but she still got burnt... must really go and purchase one of the rash shirts i think... even i got burnt but only on my legs... ended up going in the water myself clothes and all LOL but it was so hot it dried in minutes.... here are some pics from the day... took lots as usual...

this was taken at the start of the day before she got all wet and messed up LOL.. had to have some nice aussie day photos... she had to have a tattoo on as well we found these in the shop so she had to have them... just when i took it off tonight she has a white patch on her face where it was due to a bit on sunburn.. ohh well it should fade before school goes back next tuesday....

Her great nan and pop got her this hat.. it was the one from the newspaper last weekend.. she loved it thought it was great... was quite happy with how my photos turned out today used my larger lens and played around with the settings on my camera etc... slowly ill start to learn more things on this camera....

ok what else... went on a scrapbook shop crawl yesterday with friends Kylie and Tracy... had a great day... bought a few things that i wanted but not much... spent more time driving around i think LOL... here is what i got yesterday... but that is all from now on im on a scrap spend freeze... making myself save like crazy from now on... the only thing scrapping that i am buying monthly is my kit from OPAAT.. this is a monthly kit.. speaking of which after i got home from Tracy's yesterday my jan kit was here waiting for me.. this would have to be so far my most favourite kit yet... look at all this yummy stuff that i got yesterday... its so worth every cent that you spend on it... it was so good i even took a pic for you all to see ....

Yeah some creations started flowing finally for me... got 3 things done one i cant show you its a class im going to be teaching at Scrap Girls retreat in may... its so cute so if you want to come and see come to this great retreat... its going to be an awsome weekend... and the lovley Alison will also be teaching at the same retreat so you dont want to miss out....

ok some things that i can show you... this page was using the new Pencil Lines sketch... love these sketches as i have told you before.. this one was very simple and fast to do... so here it is... look at those gorgeous blue eyes arnt they just gorgeous or am i just being biased as he is my nephew LOL... ok what else of yes i made this clock also... i have wanted to make one of these for ages, my dad got me the clock... this was my version of heidi swapps clock that she made for her class at creative escapes... loved the idea so i had to scraplift her thanks heidi...

loved it its now sitting proudly on my wall in my bedroom.... ok well off to see what else i can do... bought a new computer screen and keyboard today... man its nice screen is huge and keyboard so soft to touch and easy to type on so its all good im a happy girl today LOL bit tired though was thinking of going to go and have a nana nap i think before i have to pick up kaitlyn from her dads at 5pm... sounds good to me LOL... bye xxxxx


Well it was back to school this week for DD... Big year 1 girl now... still dont actually have a class for her yet.. very frustrating for the kids and the parents... poor kids have no idea what is going on.. the school that she goes to the numbers go up and down so much that its hard for the first couple of weeks starting a new year so all kids just go back into their old classes for that time... but they arnt dong any work why not just give them another week off... all they are doing is playing drawing etc that is it.. but oh well hopefully by next week it will be organised and she can get on with the rest of the school year... here are some pics of the first day back (had to try a collage since alison was talking about them last night they seem to be all the rage at the moment LOL).. so here is my first collage of photos attempt...

Well i can finally tell you all about my little secret that i have had for about a month now... I was asked by the gorgeous Becky Fleck who designer of the awsome sketches that you can use over at Page Maps... this is the best site ever for sketches and i get so much inspiration from there for my pages so i was so excited when she asked me to do a page for her for March Newsletter.... here is my page i completed for her its a double 8.5x11 .. was so happy with how it turned out... so go on over and check out her site and check out the newsletter for March....ok what else has been happening... i told you yesterday that i would update of whats been happening in my life since i didnt blog for a month naughty me LOL...

well Kaitlyn has settled really well into school she loves her teacher and has made many new friends which im quite pleased about... she has been invited to a birthday party every weekend since she has been back at school... sunday she has another one and then only one more to go LOL... you should see her at swimming lessons now wow she is just a totally diffrent child now since we started going... she even dives in from the deep end...im so glad that she is finally getting it and proud of her as she even got herself out of a bad situation last week where she paniced but she got her self to the edge without any help...

Ok onto more scrapping things... im in 2 competitions at the moment... one of them is over at Little Scrapbook Shop its the Little book of big Memories competition... Cath has some awsome prizes up for grabs also... come and join in you can join in anytime the deadline i think is in may so plenty of time to do your 12 pages... i have done 3 so far so im going good LOL... oh and speaking of Cath ... she started a blog....LSBS Blog.. go and check it out lots of info about her shop and tells you about the comp etc... great to see you blogging cath....

The second comp im in is the Scrap Idol over at Scrap Tastic... its based on the American Idol... so much fun i have made it to round 2 so far.. this challenge you have to take inspiration from a CD cover...loving the challenges... they also did a cyber crop week long to kick off the scrap idol... only managed to get 2 of the challenges done but also did some of the fun games also....here are the pages i did for the CC...

ok seems i must of deleted the covered CD that i did ill find it and post it another time... the page above was for the sketch challenge very simple and fast page... here is my first challenge page for the scrap Idol:

this challenge you had to use a song i chose the song by aerosmith "dont want to miss a thing" you also had to use 3 diffrent patterned papers and a technique of some sort...

Well yesterday Kaitlyn got a huge surprise from her grandparents... they told her they were going out yesterday at lunch time to see a lady about a cat.. i thought they were only kidding thinking they wouldnt get another one... our last cat we had put down due to getting diabetes and he was really sick the poor thing....

So much to my surprise and Kaitlyn's my mum and dad came home with another gorgeous cat...She is a scottish-fold cross ragdoll cat... so gorgeous and fluffy and soft... she is a bit timid at the moment and jsut sort of hides everywhere that she can...she is only 18 weeks old and they said it could take about a week for her to get used to the house and the people... but she is gorgoeus... we have named her Bobbin...Kaitlyn got her a collar and name tag and 3 toys to play with...she is just so cute... here are some pics of her so far....(the photos arnt that good.. im a bad photo taker inside the house....i need help LOL anyone with tips on taking good photos inside i have a canon 350D LOL)... she looks so much like our other cat just a bit darker in colour... she has the most gorgeous eyes too... she loves kaitlyn...goes straight to her all the time....

so i think there maybe heaps of cat pages coming soon LOL... another subject to scrap about...

ok what else is new.... well i have finally decided to start getting healthy and loose a few kilos... i would like to loose 10 kilos.. so i have been eating more healthy foods (yes even at work LOL) and i have been walking... i have been twice this week i only go for half an hour at a time and it sure makes you tired LOL... but im determined to stick to it and get back to my weight that i was before i had kaitlyn.... lets see if i can do it...

on the scrapping front not alot happening... found a great site for challenges etc... its an american site but the girls on there are awsome and so friendly... the site is called Scrapping Mojo go and check it out they have weekly challenges such as sketch challenges etc they are great motivation when you are in a rut....i have scrapped a few pages latley ... here are some of my recent ones that i can show you...

Finally lost her first tooth... she was so excited it started out wobbly last week and she was jumping around... she was feeling a bit left out i think all her friends have lost teeth but she hasnt (well apart from the 2 main ones that were pulled out and metal braces put in in place LOL)... so here we are today and this morning she woke up running into my room with the tiniest tooth i have ever seen LOL... but its out now no more crying cause it hurts etc... man wait till the 2 big front ones come out then we will be in for it LOL... here is a pic of her toothless grin.. had to get the first lost tooth pic.... (ok wont let me upload pics so ill be back later to add them in)...



Hope everyone had a grea easter.. Kaitlyn got totally spoilt rotten LOL... way too much chocolate and she got heaps of nice pressies also... so she is on choc rashings lol as she isnt allowed to much chocolate due to her bad teeth...so she was happy with what she got which is good...

Kaitlyn is down having a big sleepover (her usual holiday thing) at Tracy's im going to go and get her tomorrow and have a scrap day with Tracy as well so it should be fun... 1. I am a very messy person... but every now and then i get in a huge cleaning spree and that means i throw everything LOL

2. My dream would be to go to america and tour all around the whole country espcially go to disney land

3. I would love to be a full time stay at home mum... but being a single mum that is just not possible yet...

4. I did a bar course when i was 18 but have never used it since..plus i dont drink that much maybe one drink a month

7. I have worked for McDonalds for 15 years this year... 4 as just normal crew person and the last 11 as a manager.. i now only work part time 3 days a week

Ok on to other things... im really sick at the moment.. stupid flu wish it would just go away...but i am rather excited as its only 4 more sleeps till scrapgirls retreat... woohooo im so looking forward to it... its only a small group going this time but it should be a great weekend.. im teaching a class and have also done another class that we are all teaching... yeahhhh a full weekend of scrapping i must get myself organised...

on the scrapping front i have been doing a little bit... have joined in a photography competition over at Crafting In Style lots of fun and a good way for me to use my camera more...so all we have to do is take 3 pics a month and then scrap one of those pics ... so here are my 3 pics for this month...
