Yeahhh had such a great day today...My friend Kylie came to pick me up (HI KYLIE).. we then drove out to the www.scrapbooksuperstore.com.au to have a look at all their great new stuff.. spent way too much money (will take a pic later of all the yummy stuff i got)...When i got home i had 2 emails waiting for me.. first one was the info for the shop and crop online class.. so excited it looks like its going to be a great class...Also got my email to confirm my place in both of Kim Archers classes.. yeah very excited about these as i just love her work... wish i had that much talent...Tonight i plan on doing some scrapping - must get a page done for my basic grey class which is this thursday coming up... and i need to finish off my tool kit metal box that im making also...well ill take some pics and come back later to update...Ok well here are the pics of the gorgeous stuff i got today...Loving this mag at the moment, the only one i can pic up and read from front to back and then still go back again and again for ideas (lucky me the store had 2 copies of it as we only get it rarely in australia)...

ok so there it is.. nothing too exciting.. will think of something more exciting to take a photo of tomorrow... well im off to scrap now.. hoping to get some things done before i start work at 5pm today (so really dont want to go LOL)... hope you are all having a great weekend...



this flower is my daughters... she has a little pot on her cabinet in her room and if she is a good girl or does something really nice she gets a flower (eg cleans her room without arguing..) each flower is $1.00 so when she gets 5 in a row she gets $5.00 but if she is naughty she loses a flower .. she is saving up for a build a bear which range from $30.00 and up... so far she has earned only $5.00 but she is learning LOL.. i love these flower they are one of my favourite so i wanted to take a pic of them and im even going to scrap about this and why she has them...
well im off to have a scrap day today.. i plan on trying to do a few things.. going to do a few J4K challenges hopefully.. ill be back tonight to update you on what i have accomplished...
Oh forgot to say i got my confirmation for Kim Archers classes to day... yeahhhh all booked in...
well the rest of the day was productive.. got another page done for my class, i quite like this one..
i also got a mini tin album done for Kaitlyn (it was supposed to be for valentines LOL but didnt get around to it).. ill post pics as soon as i complete it.. just have to add photos and journalling...
anyway off to bed now rather tired out and have to work tomorrow....ciao...

Not alot happening latley... got my stuff for kim's class for next wednesday.. ohh it looks so good i cant wait.. now to decide on the photo...have my basic grey class on tonight so that should be good.. my sister is doing the class with me.. she is getting right into scrapping now ...
just had to share with you my photo of the day... my mum is doing a rock and roll concert for this weekend she goes away.. so she made herself a partner LOL.. we are all joking that its now our dad... he is very quiet LOL

Yeah had a fun day today, i got to participate in my first online class with the talented Kim Archer... Love her work.. this class was so much fun, trying to keep up was the hardest part but i did alright i think...was very happy with the end results and you can see more of the other ladies pages on kims blog ------->(over in my side bar)...here is my page that i got done....
does look better in real life... cant wait for the next class it looks like another great class... i also have Sally D online class with shop and crop coming up... loving these classes online....
well off to swimming lessons (probably another screaming, crying session LOL).. then hopefully scrap some more tonight, we have my nephew here for the night so ill see how i go...


see told you i would slacken off LOL.. well its catch up time... been really busy at work latley getting really tired from so much overtime i have been doing.. ready for my holidays which up coming up in 2 weeks time YEAHHHH...
On the scrapping front i have joined in another competition its on a site called www.memorysafe.com and its a survivor competition.. finished off my first page last night here it is.. you had to use this sketch exactly the same way no alterations or adding embellishments unless it stated it on the sketch.. so that was a challenge in itself.. im slowly getting addicted to the 8 1/2 x 11 size scrap pages LOL..
have also started a recipe challenge at the awsome site www.just4keeps.com just finished off this page you had to scrap a page on a favourite appetiser.. love these yummmthought this was a really cute size (loving scrapping in diffrent sizes at the moment ) this is a 6x8 size album.. thought it was cute for a recipe album...
I have also done 2 more online classes.. one with the talented Kim Archer again.. (havnt finished the page need a quote to go on it).. and i also did my www.shopandcrop.com.au online class with Sally D.. it was a gorgeous mini book, totally loved how it turned out.. but need to finish it off also.. see i need more time in my days LOL...
well tonight im off to the www.scrapbooksuperstore.com.au for a meeting and to shop.. then working there tomorrow night also for the midnight scrap which should be fun...
wow this is turning into a huge post so i better go now and get some more scrapping done before i have to pick up kaitlyn from school..next post ill share kaitlyn's dressup she did for school.. she was so cute...

Wow had a great weekend just gone..
On saturday my friend Kylie and I (with 2 kids in toe) went to www.scrapaboutaustralia.com.au who had their first birthday on.. great stuff there, its only small but they have all the latest stuff that you want its awsome.. they had 20% off the entire store for their birthday, so of course we had to buy lots of stuff.. Kylie and I also booked in for 3 classes with them cant wait for those they sound awsome...
Saturday night we decided to go out for dinner, so we went and had chinese which was yummm but of course i ate too much LOL...
Sunday we slept in (daylight saving started so we got an extra hour)... then Kaitlyn for easter got to get a build a bear which she has wanted for ages... it was so cute watching her make the bear and dress it.. here are some pics of her gorgeous bear "Charlie"... How cute are these pics...
she loves this bear now and it goes everywhere with her....oh and while we were up the shops we went looking for a new mobile phone for my dad.. well i walked out of there with a new phone for myself LOL... i changed all my plans around and i got a new phone with it.. love it its so cool...LOL
The rest of the day was just spent lazing around the house.. didnt get any scrapping done.. I have 3 projects that i need to get done.. 2 are just to finish off (sally D's class and Kim Archers class).. Kylie and i are having a scrapping day on wednesday (she needs to have a relaxing day!!!)... so ill get them done then... only a week left then im on holidays YEAHHH so cant wait to go away and just relax... well thats about all my updates for now.. off to work tonight and work tomorrow... so cant wait for wednesday...
oh forgot to say i had a great mail day today.. i wrote an email to Making Memories (love their stuff) about their metal glue.. i have bought so many of them and they have all leaked in their packaging.. so i thought i would just drop them an email to explain my frustration as i love the glue but cant use it.. so today in the post i got this lovley parcel off them...
How nice was it of them to send me this stuff... so happy.. no wonder i love their products... the best customer service ever... love them...

had a very relaxing weekend at home by myself... friday night had a friends 21st party on it was a lot of fun.. we had to dress up as gangsters LOL.. it was really a great night... saturday i just slept and talked on the computer.. by sunday though i had a huge migrane so didnt really do much at all but sleep and watch movies, so it was good to just sit at home and veg out for a change...
on the scrapping front not much happening i pulled out of the suvivour challenge i just couldnt do them and didnt have the time either with this month being a huge month for me with 5 21st to go to i just didnt have the time so i didnt do my challenge and pulled out of it (not like i would win anyway LOL)...
well not much elase to say at the moment only 3 more days of work then im on holidays for 2 weeks.. yeahhh so cant wait.. we leave on friday to go away for 5 days so that should be fun.. will probably update when i get back...

well thought i best come on here and update since i have been back from Holidays now for 2 days LOL...We all had a great time.. was glad to get away for awhile.. it was a bit cold though especially at night.. but a few drinks and some warm jammies and i was fine...it was great to get away with all the family for a change, we havnt done that in years (since we used to go camping).. got some great pics.. here are a few of my favourite:
arnt they just so cute.. the one on the left is my 83 year old grandfather with my nephew.. and the one on the right is my DD kaitlyn and nephew Ryan... just love them cant wait to scrap these pics...
well we got back on Tuesday and got straight back into scrapping (oh i found a great little shop down there also while i was there called Jindiandy (SP?) it was really a great store).. went to a class at www.scrapaboutaustralia.com.au on wednesday night and met the lovley Alison Shearer (hi alison:>) who taught us to iron LOL it was agreat night. Kylie came with me also and we managed to get nearlly 2 pages done.. though they arnt completed LOL its my misson this week (or maybe monday when i scrap at Kylie's house) to complete all my unfinished pages... lets see if i can get this done...
anyway must get back to my scrapping i have to finish off a album im making for a friends 21st birthday which is tomorrow night (yes always leaving things to the last minute again)..

Well i had a very productive scrapping day today.. Thanks to my friend Kylie who took Kaitlyn and I in today as we had to get out of the house for the day.. it was a great day and while the kids played and made a huge mess in Kylie's house, we got some scrapping done.. yeahhhh was so happy with what i achieved.. hopeing to do some more tonight, Im on a roll... here are my efforts from today... was very happy with them all the way they turned out.. i used all these for challenges on Just 4 Keeps... well off to unpack all my goodies then to scrap some more hopefully.. tomorrow is ANZAC day.. my parents, grandparents and brother are all going to the dawn service at 3am.. sorry i cant get up that early LOL.. especially with Kaitlyn who im sure would get rather bored and carry on.. so we are staying home for the day...might get some more scrapping done LOL.. have to clean a bit first then we will see what happens... have a great ANZAC day all..take care

Im so excited i just got my first email to say that one of my pages has been accepted in a magazine... yeahhhhh this is so exciting and was one of my 2006 goals and i cant believe i have finally done it... anyway its going to be in scrapbook creations #32.. now off to fill out all the paperwork.. its just too exciting.. must ring my sister to tell her as its of her little boy Ryan...
anyway only a quick post today as i have to go and get ready for work.. yep unfortunatley im back today so not happy but hey someone has to pay the bills...

wow had a blast of a weekend..Went to the scrapgirls weekend away this weekend and had a ball.. didnt get to go up there till saturday morning but i had a great time that i was there... a bit sleep deprived now LOL (my own fault not getting to bed till 4:30am..) i do it to myself every retreat i go to LOL.. you would think i would learn, but i think that is the best part of it, seeing how long you can last LOL...Kylie did a fantastic job with all the organising of the retreat.. it went so smoothly for her and i was glad to see her smiling this time...well i didnt get much done (not as much as i would have liked) but i did get a few things done.. The very lovley and talented Kim Archer came all the way from Newcastle to teach us all a class.. the page she taught us was gorgeous as usual and i was so excited to do a class with her in real life (not just on line LOL).. so thank you so much Kim i totally enjoyed your class.. here is my page from Kim's class:

Had a great Mother's Day this year.. Got totally spoilt as usual from my gorgoeus girl..we did the usual and had macca's for breakfast (now a tradition in our family to have this on mothers day).. we then all went down to the river at Richmond for a nice picnic lunch with family.. Lovley day, nice and warm.. got some great shots.. here are a few:
after a great day.. came home and just relaxed.. Kaitlyn and I got matching PJ's for my mothers day present.. they are so cute and she loves us wearing the same thing LOL.. she also got me 2 lovley things from the mother's day stall at school.. i got a lovley handmade badge that says LOVE MUMMY and a gorgeous suncatcher crystal.. she did well picking these out for herself...
On the scrapping front not much happening.. i have made a list of things that i need to get done by the end of the month.. going well so far just need to get a few scrapping stuff completed..Off to scrapabout this thursday night for their VIP night.. should be fun, i have never been to a VIP night before so really looking foward to this.. supposed to be lots of yummy new stuff... so cant wait...

well im a bit slack latley with the blog challenges at just4keeps so thought instead of catching up..(which would take me forever LOL) i would just go with todays one... here it is
FRIENDSHIP: Who is your closest friend? How and when did you meet? What do you admire about them? What first drew you to them? What have you learned from them? What do you or did you do together that you remeber most clearly?
Going through high school i had quite a few close friends.. the one that stands out the most would be Anneke.. We both started at the same school (changed schools) on the same day.. we were instant friends. We did nearlly everything together.. she was my bad influence (i always tell her that now LOL) we skipped school together, and other bad things that we did LOL... but she always stuck by me through everything.. she was there when i fell pregnant and 2 weeks after i did so did she.. so we went through it all together.. our girls are 4 months apart so they have become great friends also...
Another good friend that is in my life now is my friend Kylie. Kylie and I met through an online scrapbook group called Wyld Aussie Swaps... we were in a cirlcle journal together and we realised we lived quite close to each other so she would drop them off at my house.. Kylie invited me to a scrapbook weekend away and we had a ball and clicked instantly.. we have become great friends ever since... she has 2 kids, Connor and Shanice, who kaitlyn gets onlong with and loves to go over there to play with them.. we organise scrapbook nights and Kylie now organises her own scrapbook weekends away and has her own company called scrapgirls.. she is doing really well with this and im very proud of her i really hope it becomes what she wants it to be.. Ok now my life update.. my poor baby girl has been really sick the last 3 days.. she seems a bit better today and she really wanted to go to school as she had her first class assembly on.. they were so cute they had to sing a rain song and dance around with their umbrellas... she seems ok now and wanted to stay at school for the rest of the day... cross fingers i dont get a call from school... other then that not much else happening in my life.. have done a few scrap pages.. i joined in the shopandcrop cyber crop and i won 2nd prize for completing all challenges and i also got the prize for best page picked by their DT.. i was rather happy with that one... cant wait to see what i get ... well off to see if i can get some more done before work tonight... hope i havnt bored you with such a long post LOL..

What a relaxing weekend we have had.. Saturday we went to dancing first, Kaitlyn is loving cheerleading and is learing pyramids and tumbles etc...then my big brave girl wanted to get her ears pierced, she was a bit nervous at first.. but i got mine redone at the same time so she thought that she could do it too.. well she cried a little bit and the lady was really nice and did both ears at the same time... kaitlyn flinched a little bit but then she was fine.. she is so cute and they look great on her... she is so glad she got them done.. here is a pic of my big brave girl...

Todays blog challenge from J4K:
Every little girl dreams of being a princess or a ballerina. When you were growing up what did you want to be?? How far is this from what you are doing now??When i was growing up I wanted to join the police force. I always had a facination with mystery's etc.. but that didnt happen.. i went a bit far over the edge at school and didnt do to well.. i got my first job at McDonald's when i was 14 years old and was still there when i left school.. they offered me a managers position with full training and degrees.. i took this straight away and have been there ever since.. they are a great company to work for.. sometimes i wish my life had gone the other way but then again i wouldnt have my gorgeous DD probably and the life i have right now i suppose i cant really complain about...
Well not much else happening today.. off to work this afternoon.. yuckkk i hate the night shift.. cant get motivated at the moment to scrap.. i think i need some help LOL.. any good ideas anyone... i really need to do something, but i just sit here and stare at it and nothing comes... please someone send me some motivation to scrap...

I love lists... i try to do a list of things to complete each month..going pretty good this month.. think ill add it to my blog from now on just so i can show you all that i do actually complete things LOL... so anyway back to lists the lovley Alison Shearer has started a sort of tag challenge on her blog to write lists... she is giving us a topic a week and we need to complete a page or blog post inregards to that topic... so here goes mine for the first week...

Finally my other half of my MM bag... so happy now that it has finally gotten here.. i just love it especially the colour its gorgeous... now i can take it to classes with me and just about anywhere LOL... its bigger then what i thought so i can hold so much stuff when i go on retreats and ill look very fashionable LOL.... well here is the part i got today...

Isnt it just gorgeous LOL...In the mail on friday i also got a present from Stacy Julian from Big Picture Scrapbooking.. i am taking her organisational class online that starts this thursday.. as a surprise she sent us all out a clipboard to alter, 2 black pens that she uses, some cute little post it notes and a purple plastic arm band that we are to use in class, we find out what they are for in the first week... here is my clipboard that i altered, was quite happy with it, very simple but like how it turned out i used the new Lil Davis papers and chipboard letters...

cant wait for this class to start...well im off now to start my first challenge for the LSS III at Just 4 Keeps.. looks like its going to be a great competition... be back later on if i get time to do my blog challenge from Erica... ciao for now


Been awhile since i last blogged so where do i start...
Over the long weekend we decided to go away with the family up to Nelson's Bay... the first 2 days were lovley, then it just went down hill from there LOL.. we all (the entire family) came down with that dreadful gastro virus.. not happy campers were we... we were supposed to come home on the Monday but as we were all too sick to drive we stayed another day.. by Tuesday morning i had gotten the virus also and all i wanted to do was to come home to my bed (sooky i know LOL).. so being as sick as i was i got in the car and drove the 4 hour trip home (stopping along the way quite a few times for you know what LOL).. we finally made it home and i was so happy.. i spent the rest of the day in bed... Kaitlyn was the only one that didnt get it, that was until wednesday when she finally came down with it also.. the poor thing she had only just gotten over this same bug 2 weeks ago...so now we are all on the mend thank goodness, Kaitlyn has gone back to school today and so far i have had no calls to pick her up so she must be ok...
Onto other things... im participating again in the LSS III at Just 4 Keeps its a challenge and im really loving what Kathy is getting us to do.. so far i have made it to week 2 (last round i got to week 4 so we will see how i go).. i can share with you now my page for week 1...
i was quite happy with this page.. its one of my favourites... cross fingers that i keep going...also on the scrapping front im doing and ABC'S of ME album again with Just 4 keeps.. (love that site).. here is my title page that i just completed today:

its not that crooked in real life LOL... also about to start a SHE album.. this again is at just 4 keeps with Jill its like the one that Heidi Swapp has done and taught so it looks great with what Jill has done so far... i bought a great journal book to do this in while i was away...

Just a quick post today to show you all my gorgeous DD.. She went to her first school Disco last night.. she was gorgeous LOL.. it was called a Whacky Disco and they had to dress really weird.. this is what my DD looked like:

My mum reckons she looked like Cindy Lauper the singer LOL.. i think she looks so cute.. she had a great time which was good... the parents had to sit outside and wait (which was freezing cold)... Definatley seems my little girl is growing up...:( Not much else to report today... have to work later on tonight (night shift yuckkk).. but i may actually get some scrapping done if i ever get off this computer...

I know im a bad blogger LOL.. but here goes... only thing is there is not much to tell... had a great weekend just gone.. on Saturday after dancing Kaitlyn and I went to see the movie "Over the Hedge".. it was quite funny and Kaitlyn loved it.. we sat there and stuffed ourselves with the largest popcorn i have ever seen and frozen coke (kaitlyn's favourite)... that afternoon kaitlyn and I went to Kylie's house to scrap (not that i did alot of that LOL) i did manage to get one page done:
very plain and simple.. I am so in a rut at the moment with my scrapping its not funny.. anyone have any ideas how to get out of it.. i need some motivation... I also entered this page in a online crop at Just 4 Keeps and i won 2 of the prizes YEAHHH... one was for a game that was a unscramble the words game.. very interesting but i got them all right yeahhh.. thanks to the lovley Erica in Canada for organising it all.. was dissapointed that i missed out on the doodling class that she was doing....
It was also my grandfathers 83rd birthday yesterday so we had a family lunch for him.. he looks so good for his age.. and i love him to bits... so HAPPY BIRTHDAY POP....
ok what else is new.. oh i started to learn how to use brushes on photos last week.. the gorgeous Tracy sent me some to play around with (thank you Tracy your the best).. here is a pic that i altered with them.. its my first try LOL
was quite pleased with how it turned out for my first go...
oh i also attened Alison's great Boho Chic class last wednesday night.. it was a lot of fun apart from the flower LOL... but i love how it turned out

Wow i didnt realise it has been so long since i updated here.. opps better get to it hey or Kylie will yell at me again LOL...
Ok so whats been happening.. School holidays have been on for the last 2 weeks.. I still had to work though so kaitlyn and I only got to do a few things this holidays.. we went and saw the awsome movie CARS.. it was great definatley one i have to get on DVD... kaitlyn also went to the Barbie Botique that was on at Castle Towers.. She had her hair done in lots of curls and her nails painted she looked gorgeous...Last Friday we went down to visit Tracy and the kids.. We were supposed to go on a photo shoot at Picton but of course it was raining so didnt manage to get any photos.. we had a great day anyway Kaitlyn playing all day with Felicity and I and Tracy went scrap shopping then managed to get a page each done (well mine is only half done LOL)...
On the scrapping front.. im in such a rut at the moment i just cant get motivated to scrap at all.. I have only managed about 3 pages this month... I have decided to do the new competition in the For Keeps Magazine its called "Everyday Moments", you have to do 3 pages a month on the theme that it says in the mag, this month it was Family... Im so determined to finish this album this time and actually send it in for a change.. I have joined in on the Shop and Crop message board and they are doing a section for this competition to keep us motivated the whole 8 months... Thanks to the gorgeous Jaimie who is helping us out if we have any issues and showing us her gorgeous work.... cant wait to see the final results...

WOW i won something... so excited... i donated to the wonderful cause that Ngaire did an awsome job of organising and raised a HUGE amount... I actually won a prize and im so excited.. I have won the gorgeous book from Donna Downey "Decorative Journals" from the Scrap Heap.. thank you so much to all that were involved in this... wow i won something LOL....
